Our sustainability commitment.
The environment has always been, and will always be, at the foundation of every decision we make at JB Skin Sävvi.
The boxes that our products are packaged in are carbon neutral and FSC Certified. Our cream bottles are 100% recyclable and produced by a company with IIP Gold certification and Gold Ecovadis sustainability rating. And because we are committed to working with businesses that share our passion for sustainability, our serum droppers are manufactured by a company which works with 100% renewable energy.
Since 2020, we have eliminated all unnecessary packaging, reducing the number of boxes and cardboard included in our parcels, hence also reducing the size of our parcels. We no longer produce boxes for our cleanser and toners. In only 2 years, 5123 less boxes were used and shipped, reducing our impact on the environment.
Each JB Skin Sävvi order and parcel is carbon neural. The carbon footprint of each package is estimated based on weight and distance traveling to you. From this estimate, JB Skin Sävvi offsets the carbon emission by protecting and planting trees in the Great Bear Rainforest located in British Columbia, Canada. You can also match our donation at check out, helping to save even more trees!
As an extension of our founder’s Finnish heritage, JB Skin Sävvi purchased 8 acres of land in Lapland, Finland in 2019. The Helsinki Foundation is a non-profit foundation established for the purpose of either directly or indirectly promoting the long-term conservation of nature.

JB Skin Sävvi is proud to be 100% female owned and operated!
Getting involved with our community is something that is fundamental to the JB Skin Sävvi team. Every year we donate time and funds to support Le chaînon.
Founded in 1932, la Fondation Le Chaînon has made a difference in the lives of thousands of women suffering with mental and physical issues, addictions, and abusive relationships. Offering them safe housing, warm meals, clothing and more.
So far JB skin Sävvi has DONATED

In 2022 we also hosted an in-person workshop to educate women on how to take care of their skin. More to come in 2023!

We create minimalist products and skus that serve multiple purposes. Our products are diligently designed to be versatile and adaptable to all skin needs. We always aim at having the least amount of ingredients possible in our products, without compromising results as well as the least amount of products in women’s bathrooms, without compromising the act of self-care.
We also create product formats and formulations that last longer enabling you to place less orders, reducing the carbon footprint of your skin care purchases.

We want to be good and do good. We want to make a real difference when it comes to promoting the mindful consumption of beauty products. We believe in ongoing education, for ourselves and for our consumers, on how to implement methods and procedures that benefit both the skin and the planet.

In our efforts to continuously offer you the most ethically sourced but also result driven ingredients and products, obtaining the Cosmos Ecocert certification was the natural next step. Ecocert is the world’s leading specialist in the certification of sustainable practices.
