For more than 30 years, I have dedicated my career to understanding the skin, how it functions, and what influences its balance over time. Years of observation, hands-on experience and meaningful encounters have shaped the way I understand and care for it.
In 2016, this vision gave rise to JB Skin Sävvi and Peoni, its very first skincare collection. I wanted to create thoughtful formulas designed to support the skin gently while respecting its natural evolution. The brand has grown since then, but this intention remains at the heart of every decision I make.
My work, however, extends beyond formulating skincare. Sharing that knowledge has become an equally important part of my journey. Because understanding your skin better allows you to make more informed choices—and, quite often, to do less.
Today, JB Skin Sävvi brings together what has always inspired me: skin, knowledge, nature, and the belief that simplicity, when grounded in genuine understanding, can be extraordinarily powerful.

I think in strategies the same way I think in words: with intention, precision and care.
Carried by a little luck and propelled by a touch of audacity, I carved out an unconventional path that took me from marketing and Web strategy to demanding international and technical environments, where I learned to navigate complex realities, understand them more deeply and bring what matters most to the surface.
Words, however, were never far away. Translation, editing and writing have always been part of my journey before taking on new momentum, enriched by experience and a more mature appreciation for nuance, rhythm and meaning.
At JB Skin Sävvi, this dual perspective now allows me to approach the brand through both thought and expression—from the strategy that gives it direction to the words that give it a voice.
JB Skin Sävvi ultimately felt like a natural fit: the culmination of a journey where the full richness of everything I have experienced can finally find its fullest expression.
